ENGINEERING DESIGN PROJECTS
My time at the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) has helped me understand the engineering design process. I have learnt how to break down problems, ideate solutions and develop the idea according to the project/design constraints.

HOPEX - FINAL YEAR PROJECT
As part of my final year project my teammates and I designed a wearable and passive device that helps correct workers’ postures during lifting so as to reduce incidence of lower back pain.
We fabricated and tested prototypes in conjunction with a leading engineering firm in Singapore (HOPE Technik). We used Solidworks to simulate and 3D Printing and CNC Machining techniques to fabricate the final design.

ROLLING ROBOT - 30.007 ENGINEERING DESIGN AND INNOVATION
Given a semester long timeframe - my team and I were tasked to design and prototype a rolling robot. This spherical robot was subjected to FMEA analysis to ensure the reliability and durability of the build design.

WEARABLE HEALTH TECH -Â THE LONGEVITY BELT
During my summer exchange programme to Zhejiang University situated in Hangzhou, China my team and I developed wearable healthcare technology using 3D Rhino modelling software and Microsoft Excel data analysis techniques for continuous infant health monitoring.
We produced a prototype in association with Zhejiang University professors and graduate students

WOODEN CHAIR DESIGN AND FABRICATION
This chair was designed and built during my summer exchange in China over a period of 2 weeks. With the advice of the professor conducting this design course at Zhejiang University my teammate and I proceeded to build this simple yet sturdy chair with just a few simple tools.
Video Production and Editing
While this may not involve "engineering", the process of producing videos involves almost all aspects of design. This film was made during my final year in university as part of a module on film production. I particularly enjoyed working with a team of my peers at SUTD to produce this short film. My teammates and I story boarded the short film, but my main role was to be the video editor. I developed my Adobe Premiere Pro video editing skills working on Reverie
